The Lighthouse Museum reflects seafarer history from the early beginning to the present. It is one of the oldest of Floridas' lights, dating to 1847, which displays the original Fresnel lens. Walk up 88 steep steps to the top of the conical brick lighthouse for a birds eye view of historic Old Town. (You will also have a GREAT view of the hot tub at Lighthouse Court located just below. The Key West Art and Historical Society impeccably restored both the Keeper's Quarters and Lighthouse in the 1990s.
