The Florida Keys are a chain of islands expanding Southwest into the Gulf of Mexico. The Seven Mile Bridge connects the Lower Keys with the Upper Keys. The Overseas Highway is built on the roadbed of the old Overseas Railroad, which was destroyed by a ferocious hurricane in 1935.
